Rock Star: Quarterback
While we anxiously await the new lead singer of INXS to be chosen, we must first determine who the viable candidates are for fantasy stud among the new quarterbacks this year. While we all hope for Big Ben 2, more times than not these guys can lead us to fantasy disaster. Here's a quick breakdown of the new kids on the block/new frontmen.JP Losman (Bills)-2nd year but 1st as starter...he has weapons and a big gun, but may be slow out of the gate in a tough defensive division. McGahee should help ensure he doesnt make too many errors but production will be limited.
Patrick Ramsey (Redskins)-part 2 should end as part 1 did, Jason Campbell will be there by midseason in a sluggish offense.
Trent Dilfer (Browns)-Trent can win but was never a fantasy stud, take into account a rookie wideout and unsettled running game and you may have better options but worth a flier as a #2.
Kurt Warner (Cards)-could see big things in the desert for Kurt. If his young WRs can mature and he can stay off his back, the division is definitely shaky in the secondary.
Drew Bledsoe (Cowboys)-steady but unspectacular and with Julius Jones, wont need to carry the burden, strictly a #2 if drafted at this point.
Gus Frerotte (Dolphins)-make sure they pad down the stadium for his arrival.
Gary Hogeboom (Survivor)-gotta love it when reality TV mixes with fantasy football.
